- Its a way of showing your identity and who you are to others
- You can promote yourself
- Everybody is accessable to anyones profile, no matter what your class or status

Negative:
- If you do anything bad, there is no privacy, therefore you get judged (True colours)
- Bullying
- Photos can cause abuse
- Fraping
- You don't know who you're really talking to
